LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Primetime Emmy-winning comedian Kathy Griffin has recently made a fiery claim about the Yeezy founder Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori. She alleged that the couple's relationship was abusive.
In one of her recent videos, the ‘Pulp Fiction’ actress commented on the nature of West and Censori from an onlooker’s view and added her take on it, per Pop Crave.
Griffin did not take kindly to the globetrotting couple’s daring acts of amorous displays and Censori’s choice of risque outfits on the streets of Japan and Italy as she put forward her view of the relationship being abusive.
Starting her video with a cautionary note, Griffin admitted that she was “probably gonna get in trouble” for the video, but chose to continue nonetheless.
However, she makes it clear that it is entirely her own viewpoint on “Kanye West and his new wife Bianca Censori.”
Griffin told her fans, “When they were in Italy and he had her drop to her knees…and give him a ‘service’ and we saw his bare butt, knowing there were paparazzi photographers all the way around…that to me just reeks of abuse.”
She also put forward her opinion that Kanye West “may be physically abusing her.”
Apart from that, Griffin also pointed out the similarity between Censori’s body and West’s former wife and reality star Kim Kardashian.
The 62-year-old comedian further highlighted the dichotomy of West’s fully covered ensemble with the 28-year-old Australian architect’s outfits of “pantyhose” and see-through bandeaus.
While ‘The D-List’ star is fully convinced about the psychological abuse, she also made a case for the probability of Censori being voiceless as she is not on social media.
Kanye West becomes a photographer for leotard-clad Bianca Censori
On Thursday, September 21, 2023, the ‘Rhonda’ rapper turned into a photographer to capture moments of his wife as they were spotted navigating through the crowded streets of Via dei Calzaiuoli in Florence, Italy, as shared by an Instagram account @welcome_to_florence.
The Yeezy architect was seen donning a beige-colored figure-hugging leotard paired with a shiny pantyhose. She was seen posing with the locals who were all clicked in a frame by West, reports Daily Mail.
While the locals seemed to be enjoying their company as the pair went inside the Florence-based luxury brand Graziella Braccialini’s store, everyone in Italy is not happy with her sartorial choices and the couple’s antics.
A few weeks ago, West infamously bared his buttocks during a ride in Venice’s water taxi which caused a massive uproar on the internet, with several netizens even asking the Italian authorities to get involved.
A Venice Police source told Daily Mail, “There are standards of public decorum that have to be followed by tourists and locals alike, and any breaches are severely punished.”
They continued, “The images of West with his trousers down while in a taxi as he and his partner crossed the lagoon were seen all over the globe.”
“You could clearly see his trousers were half down and we have received complaints from people who witnessed it. Now we have identified the driver of the boat and we will be asking him what he saw as well,” said the source on behalf of the department.
The source cautioned, “The images show the couple clearly in a state of intimacy and if the local prosecutor decides to press charges then we will notify the couple, most probably through the relevant embassies.”
They concluded, “The offense being investigated is acts contrary to public decency which is punishable by an administrative sanction.”
Internet backs Kanye West and Bianca Censori amid Kathy Griffin's abuse claims
Despite Kathy Griffin's claims and Censori's abundant appearances in provocative catsuits, the internet seems to be backing the couple who has been enjoying a world tour.
One of the fans slammed Griffins for making a "wild claim" and said, "Another wild claim with no evidence? Yeah it'll be front page & primetime news soon."
Someone else said, "Please can you tell me how all this has made your life any good?"
One person, "Maybe, But she wouldn’t be with him if she didn’t want to, so who knows what’s going on in their personal relationship."
"Painting a highly educated woman voiceless just to make Kanye look bad, huh," commented another user while slamming Griffin.
Another fan also didn't like Griffin talking about the "abusive" relationship. The social media user said, "Her observation abt similarities of Bianca- her body, fasion style- with Kim is bang on but she lost me on later part how it talks abt abusive relationship."
"There r thousand battered women who r seeking help but not receiving. Instead of doing something for them, we want to focus on a celeb who isn’t crying help - just for attention or wht," said someone else on the internet.
Another fan said, "All I’ll say is that making accusations of abuse without solid evidence is risky. We should be cautious about drawing conclusions from a single incident caught by paparazzi, as it may not reflect the whole truth about their relationship."
