Starting Dec. 29, the partnership decided to upgrade the rewards that players can receive. Whereas players used to only receive skin shard tokens to be redeemed monthly, now the benefits have multiplied.
When the Prime Gaming Capsule is claimed and opened, it will contain:
- 350 Riot Points
- Five Mythic Essence
- 200 Orange Essence
- One unowned 1350 RP Skin Permanent
- Five Champion Shards
- Two Series 1 Eternal Shards
- One 30-Day XP Boost
The currency prizes within the capsule are essential for players looking to raid the shop for their favorite skins, and saving up these rewards each month can help this cause as well.
How to Claim Prime Gaming Rewards
Getting the Prime Gaming rewards is a simple process and only requires a few steps, especially if players have a Prime Account already.
The steps that need to be taken are:
- Make sure you have a subscription to Amazon Prime
- Go to the Prime Gaming website for League of Legends
- Click 'Get in-game content'
- Enjoy your free prizes!
There will be spouts of rewards available each month for players who have connected their accounts. So, even if for some reason players miss out on this month's rewards, they will have another chance in coming months.
The League of Legends Prime Gaming rewards for January 2023 ends on Feb. 16.
