Liam Gallagher is set to play three nights at London's The O2 arena as part of his 2024 'Definitely Maybe' 30th anniversary tour.

Legendary Britpop group Oasis' former frontman is set to mark the milestone of their seminal 1994 LP without his estranged brother and the group's former guitarist and chief songwriter, Noel Gallagher, next year.

As he has at many of his solo shows, the 51-year-old rock'n'roll star will be joined by Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, 58, for the arena run.

The tour kicks off in Sheffield on June 2 and includes dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Dublin.

Liam is also set for three concerts in his home city of Manchester and has two gigs in Glasgow and Dublin.

The 'Supersonic' hitmaker said: “I’m bouncing around the house to announce the ‘Definitely Maybe’ Tour.

“The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x."

As well as performing the hits 'Live Forever', Cigarettes and Alcohol' and 'Supersonic', fan-favourites including ‘Whatever’, ‘Fade Away’, ‘Listen Up’ and ‘Sad Song’ have been teased.

Tickets go on sale from 9am BST on Friday (20.10.23) via www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Liam’s tour reveal comes after Noel, 55, last month declared even though an anniversary edition of ‘Definitely Maybe’ was on its way, there will not be an Oasis reunion in 2024.

Fans’ hopes have been building that the siblings would reform the group – who split in 2009 following a backstage bust-up between the rival brothers - but Noel squashed talk they will get back together to mark the anniversary of their first record.

But promising there would be a special release of the record coming out, which will feature a host of previously lost songs from the recording sessions, he told Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera: “In the Sony archives we’ve found tapes dating to those sessions.

“We thought they were lost, but they were mislabelled. They are wonderful versions of those songs, some acoustic versions.

“There won’t be a tour – we won’t come back to play them together.”

New tracks being added to the re-release will include acoustic versions of classics such as ‘Live Forever’, ‘Slide Away’ and ‘Supersonic’.
