LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: YouTube gaming sensation Ludwig recently started some drama just for the sake of it during a stream. He conducted a vote in which his audience chose what would be done in the stream, where he gave two options, but the audience decided to go with the third option, which simply stated "other," even though Ludwig told them to stop voting for it, saying, "I don't have other."
Ludwig decided that the "other section of the week" would be a "drama section" after viewing the results of his community's voting. According to the Los Angeles-based celebrity, none of it was "made up".
‘Stupid f**ker’
He remarked, “All right, chat. Yeah, you guys voted for our third section of the stream, which I was really prepared for. Our drama section, where we're going to start some serious drama with... YouTuber... I really hate - I'm going to say something really controversial. I hate this YouTuber. Their name, you might be familiar with them. Cody Ko, stupid f**ker! I hate Cody Ko. I'll say it!”
Ludwig gave five reasons, which he referred to as his "five fingers of death that destroy Cody Ko," explaining why he "hates" the YouTuber. He cited several factors, the first of which was that the YouTube comedian appeared to have a significant female audience.
“For one - he has way, way too many women who watch him. Why don't they watch me? I feel like I make an inclusive environment that is fun for everybody. Cringe,” he said. However, he laughed in the middle of saying this, making it seem like he was joking.
‘Stole my Nut, though!’
Maintaining his light-hearted tone, the former Twitch streamer accused Cody Ko of copying his work. He brought up the latter's most recent partnership with rapper Young Nut, an alumnus of Ludwig's college.
He opened Cody's YouTube page to show his audience Cody's recent videos, saying, “Option number two. What is this whole thing with stealing all of my content? Drama! Okay, if you haven't seen it, Cody Ko recently made a video with Nut. AKA, the guy I went to college with!” He continued, “Interesting timing, how he suddenly finds Nut to make a video with. You know, I'm actually, really happy for Nut. I think this could be really good for him, and like, expose him to new people.” To conclude his second point, he jokingly remarked, “Stole my Nut, though!”
Another reason Ludwig "hated" Cody Ko was that he only got in touch with him to discuss methods to work with well-known GeoGuessr streamer GeoWizard.
“Reason number three. He hits me up to play GeoGuessr with GeoWizard. I thought he wanted to hit me up to chat! Shoot the s**t. Nope! He just wanted to find out how to contact GeoWizard because I figured out how to email him,” he added.
The 27-year-old was surprised when he realized that he needed to provide two more reasons. Then he made a "final" remark and said, “Do I have two more? Really? And final drama - I think he runs too much. What are you trying to prove? He did, like, a marathon. Who gives a s**t?! Right? Earth to Cody, cool! Cringe! 'He did an Iron Man (Challenge).' I don't even know what the f**k that means! Is that harder than a marathon? Don't care. I can do a marathon. I can do a marathon any day!” With that, he concluded his tirade with only four reasons.
‘This beef is crazy’
There were a few responses in the YouTube comments area. A fan commented, “This beef is crazy,” while another fan commented, “He gives off the same energy that Dennis Reynolds does on Always Sunny.” One of the fans stated, “I know the women comment is mostly a joke (about not having many girls around here)... But I just wanted to say I (and even my younger sisters) watch you and have for years. Love your content man,I make my husband watch with me.” Another fan also said, “ludwig is like scratch from ice age 1-7 . always losing his nut. I guess in this analogy the one taking luds nut (cody) would be the ice age, which fits because judging by everything my close personal friend ludwig has said about him, he is a very cold individual.”
