CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA: 'Below Deck Down Under' Season 2 star Luke Jones was fired from the show for sexual misconduct with Margot Sisson. Referring to the same incident, Margot took to Instagram to thank fellow cast members of the show for supporting her in this difficult time.
Margot uploaded photos with each cast member of 'Below Deck Down Under' Season 2, explaining how grateful she was to them for recognizing her vulnerability. She even thanked Captain Jason Chambers for his “immediate response” to Luke's misconduct.
Even after the heartbreaking situation, Margot feels "safe and supported" knowing that the cast members are there by her side.

Margot uploaded several photos on Instagram on Wednesday under the caption, "I just want this to be here forever." The first photo was of her with Aesha Jean.
Margot wrote, "I'd like to start by saying a big thank you to @aesha_jean and express the love I have for her." She added, "The way she recognized the vulnerability of the situation I was in and her courageous intervention on my behalf was both heroic and so admirable."
Margot went on to thank the universe as well as the producers "who quickly stepped in" to help her out, stating, "I thank the universe for her every day, as well as the producers who quickly stepped in. She penned, "Aesha, you have a heart of gold, I look up to you, and I will forever be grateful."
Margot also gave a huge thanks to Captain Jason for "his immediate response" as she wrote, "I want to give a HUGE thank you to Jason too, for his immediate response to the situation, leaving no room for any BS."
She said, "There are unfortunately a lot of captains who would choose to sweep something like this under the rug, I am grateful that Jason is not one of them," adding, "Thank you for repeatedly making me feel safe and supported. I wish every captain were just like you. Sending you so much love right now."
She then tagged Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph for helping her out when she felt "low and vulnerable," quoting the chef as she stated, "@cheftzarina for helping me when I felt so low and vulnerable, it is true, "Women should be able to black out drunk if they want to. We should be able to stand in a room naked and not have anyone do anything to us.""
Calling the chef her role model, she added, "It was truly eye-opening for me, and I'm sure it hit home for countless women who have also felt shame and somehow to blame for their own experiences. Thank you for holding me, supporting me, and feeding me flapjacks and chicken soup with so much love. I am lucky to have you in my life and you have become such a role model to me. I love you so much."
Margot then continued to thank Harry Van Vliet for "continuing to be perfect" as he made her smile "every single day." She also said, "You are an incredible person and you deserve the world." Margot wrote, "I want to say THANK YOU for all the beautiful messages coming in from the viewers."
Margot Sisson feels 'sick' as she talks about sexual assault
Margot wrote in her post, "To all the women who have been affected by sexual assault in any way, shape, or form, my heart breaks for you." She asks all the survivors to know that they are not alone in their struggle.
Referring to the previous episode, Margot writes, "I understand that this episode was deeply triggering and incredibly difficult for many to watch." However, Margot believes it was vital to show the incident as it went too "real and far."
She calls Luke a "perpetrator" saying they "often escape accountability, and this is not ok." feeling lucky that Aesha and producers intervened in the matter, Margot wrote, "It makes me feel sick to my stomach."
Margot then gave courage to all the women who often believe it's their fault in such a situation. She says, "Your body is your body, your space is your space, your bed is your bed, and nobody is allowed to enter that bubble without consent."
How is Margot Sisson now?
Margot has been working a lot on herself ever since the filming. She says, "My relationship with alcohol is pretty much non-existent now."
Margot has changed herself so much that when she now sees the show it feels as if she is watching someone else. The star claims, "Hang in there with me for the rest of the season, and just know that I've grown so much since then and I'm so proud of who I am today."
She ended her post asking women to reach out for help if they're dealing with any kind of s*xual assault or alcohol issue.
