'Mayim is awkward and robotic': 'Jeopardy!' fans beg Ken Jennings to return as host after unwatchable episode

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After the ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ finale, viewers are tired of the game show as it is back with new game champions. The game shows a spinoff called the previous game Masters which rocked every episode with cut-throat competition, mind-blowing wins, and taking whopping amounts of cash. Since its finale, the fans have grown tired of the game show, calling out it as ‘unwatchable’ following a recent episode hosted by Mayim Bialik.

The recent Monday, May 29 ‘Jeopardy!’ broadcast, which featured a face-off between Niranjan Murali, Travis Lee, and Diandra D’Alessio was brutally slammed by the viewers as they are not impressed by the game anymore. Although the contestants are pulling an intense fight, keeping the show engaged, the viewers are missing the thrill and excitement of the game.

‘Jeopardy!’ lost its kick

The recent broadcast of ‘Jeopardy!’ hosted by Mayim Bialik, 47, was roasted by the viewers. The episode centered on a face-off between Murali, Lee, and Diandra. While Diandra took the lead with Murali, Lee struggled to maintain his footing in the game. The game went on quickly, however, the competition remained intense until the very end between the two front-runners. As the game ended with Diandra as the winner for the second time in a row, fans seemed to find the show less appealing and shared their thoughts online, as one Twitter user wrote, "I wonder if we all stopped talking about how bad Mayim is, Jeopardy would then remove her as host. Complaining about her gives the show free publicity every night. But still, she's the wooooorst. #jeopardy", while another said, "@missmayim always gives these long pauses before she reveals whether the contestant is correct or not. It drives me crazy! Bring back @KenJennings #Jeopardy." Another user wrote, "Today was probably one of her worst performances as a host. Like, two seasons in and Mayim still hasn’t found a rhythm or a way to pick up the pace between clues. So frustrating as a viewer so I know the contestants are stressed. #jeopardy," and another commented, "Mayim don’t wait five seconds before revealing every answer challenge #jeopardy." One more fan wrote begging to bring Ken Jennings back as the host, "Mayim is so awkward and robotic. Why does she pause so long before every weird “…..that’s it!” or “…yes!” Waiting for producers to give the thumbs up? Especially bad after watching Ken host #Jeopardy Masters for the last three weeks. Please just make him the full time host."

Diandra D’Alessio’s big win

In an earlier episode, Diandra won the game as she stunned the viewers with a conservative bet and scored her biggest victory. She and her other co-contestants stumped in the Final Jeopardy. Diandra faced off with champ Jesse Chin and Alice Ciciora. The first game break was nearly close across all the competitors as Jesse garnered a total of $2,800 whereas Diandra got $2,000 and Alice trailed $800. The game went on between the two leaders as they reach Double Jeopardy! The back-and-forth battle between Jesse and Diandra surprisingly lost track when Alice somehow managed to gain the upper hand and head into the Final Jeopardy! With $8,900, Jesse with $8,600, and Diandra with $7,800.

However, the game again turned the table in the Final Jeopardy! clue which read, "The third-most famous group that invaded Britain in the 5th century, they gave their name to the continental part of Denmark.” The final question was a Triple Stumper where all contestants responded incorrectly, the correct answer being “Who are the Jutes?”

Alice lost the majority of her winnings while Jesse was left with $0. Apparently, Diandra wagered $4,501, leaving her with $3,299 and the W.
