NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Michael Strahan recently missed yet another broadcast of the morning show on Monday after biding time between a new hosting gig on Fox and co-host Robin Roberts’ wedding.

Strahan will be hosting 'Sunday Night Football' on Fox, giving him a chance to earn more money and expand his net worth.

Michael Strahan's action-packed weekend made him miss ‘GMA’

Strahan missing ‘GMA’ on Monday morning was solely because of an action-packed weekend which included Roberts’ wedding and a new hosting gig at Fox.

The ex-NFL star spent time at her co-host’ wedding, sharing the happiness on her big day, and also took to his Instagram Stories to share a snap of the happy couple walking hand in hand together in their wedding dresses.

Strahan also shared a video of himself from the Fox Sports set where he was back to begin hosting Sunday Night Football.

With the return of the football season, Strahan will be occupied on Sundays with his hosting gig at Fox. The former NFL star has been brought on to provide his thoughtful analysis and assess the performances of teams.

However, taking up the job at Fox means that Strahan will host the show at a rival network.

This may not be concerning for many at ABC but it does affect the fans who will now be seeing less of Strahan on Mondays behind the ‘GMA’ desk.

With Strahan missing the Monday broadcast after a long weekend of partying and attending his hosting gig at the NFL, it’s unclear when he will return to the post at ‘GMA.’
