Omni-Man is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 sooner than fans might think.
Mortal Kombat 1 has only been out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch for a week, yet fans are already looking forward to DLC characters. The two confirmed characters on their way to the new title are The Boys' Homelander and Invincible's Omni-Man. The Mortal Kombat 1 Omni-Man release date is likely in October 2023. Ed Boon Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios, announced, "Omni-Man is going to be joining the cast of Mortal Kombat 1. He's actually the first [DLC character] to be released."
After the successful release of Mortal Kombat 1 on Sept. 19, 2023, fans will not have to wait long for the first DLC guest character to hit the game.

Omni-Man's voice actor is the one and only J.K. Simmons. At San Diego Comic-Con, Boon revealed, "And then we had J.K. doing the audio for [Omni-Man]. It's as authentic as it can be."

The Mortal Kombat 1 Homelander DLC will be released in Spring 2024. He will likely be the last DLC character coming to the game.
