LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite being engaged to other people, Billy Ray Cyrus and his ex-wife, Tish, are still at loggerheads. Their constant fights and new partners have reportedly caused a rift in the family.
"Billy Ray and Tish have this mutual toxic obsession and just won't let it drop," an insider said, adding that Tish's recent engagement to 'Prison Break' star Dominic Purcell has only made things worse.

'Billy and Tish continue to diss each other'
The 61-year-old country artiste offended his daughter, Miley, in 2022 by proposing to singer Firerose just six months after divorcing Tish. "Miley doesn't talk to him, and things are very frosty between her and some of her siblings. It's fractured the family, but instead of trying to make peace and heal things, Billy and Tish continue to diss each other, which causes havoc in the family," sources told RadarOnline.
The former couple share five children, all artistes, including Noah and Trace. "They used to have a great family life, and now they're almost never together. It's a mess," sources added.
It was previously reported that Miley looked to her godmother, Dolly Parton, for support amid the row with her father. Sources said that the 'Wrecking Ball' singer was embarrassed by Cyrus' decision to propose to the considerably younger Australian artiste.
"Some people are concerned that she's completely lost and alone. Miley was already shocked and appalled that Billy Ray and Firerose were hooking up, so now that he's stuck a ring on this gal's finger, it's a step beyond and a real kick in the teeth," sources said at that time.

Cyrus announced his engagement in November 2022, after Tish filed for divorce following a nearly 30-year marriage. Fans wondered if something was wrong as Cyrus was not in any of Miley's family photos Christmas. They pointed out that the former couple had not been seen together in months. Wearing an engagement ring with a big diamond, Tish revealed her engagement to Purcell on Instagram in April. "A thousand times…. YES!" she captioned the photo.
