Habitual Netflix bookmarkers will be pleased to hear the video streaming service is making it easier to sort through movies and shows you’ve bookmarked.
As The Verge reported, the move will mean Netflix users will be able to filter TV shows and movies through new lists such as, “Haven’t Started,” “Started,” and sort content depending on when they added something to their list, and release dates. It will also be possible to arrange shows alphabetically.
The filters, which have already rolled out on Android, will be made available on iOS in “the next few weeks,” according to a Netflix spokesperson quoted in The Verge’s report.
The updated My List screenThe popular video streaming service is adding a “Coming Soon” row to the homepage of the TV version of the Netflix app, making it easier to preview upcoming movies and TV shows. Netflix users will also be able to set a reminder for when a favorite show or movie is available.
As Engadget notes, Netflix added the My List feature close to 10 years ago, but until now users had to scroll through the entire list to find their desired watch.
In other Netflix news, this week, as part of its nascent (and unpopular) crackdown on password sharing, the company announced it’ll cost US subscribers $7.99 per month per extra user to share their accounts with people outside their household.
As part of the crackdown, the company also said it would put a cap of two account sharers per paying subscriber.
