LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Iconic actor and former politician Arnold Schwarzenegger has added another title to his already impressive resume. The streaming media giant Netflix has appointed Schwarzenegger as its Chief Action Officer.
The announcement came on Monday, May 22, following Schwarzenegger's appearance at the Cannes Film Festival the previous week. In a video shared by Netflix, the 'True Lies' star was seen inside an army tank, expressing his love for action and introducing his new role.

"No one loves action as much as I do," Schwarzenegger declared in the video. He added, "That's why I've accepted a big new job as Netflix's Chief Action Officer," before mentioning several upcoming action movies and series to come on Netflix, including 'Heart Of Stone' featuring Gal Gadot, 'Extraction 2' starring Chris Hemsworth, and sequels of the popular series 'The Witcher'.
Netflix's Instagram post read, "Nobody knows action like Arnold. And nobody hits like Netflix." In fact, Schwarzenegger himself is set to star in the new Netflix series called 'FUBAR', marking his first TV series appearance. The show, which premieres on May 25, revolves around Schwarzenegger's character, Luke Brunner, who plays the father of Monica Barbaro's character, Emma Brunner. Both discover that they are CIA employees, complicating their ability to work undercover.
