WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: Paige Spiranac is undoubtedly one of the most successful women among golf influencers. Spiranac might not have achieved these heights if it weren't for her supporting family, especially her mother, who stayed with her through thick and thin.

Despite her affection and support for the golf influencer, Spiranac's mother has occasionally shown her strict side. Spiranac once revealed receiving threats from her mother to pass her driver's test.

The golfing beauty got down with Samantha Marks, her podcast co-host on 'Playing a Round with Paige Renee', in April 2023. The two started talking about their earlier years as youngsters who were attempting to obtain their driver's licenses.

The former professional golfer then dropped the truth bomb. Spiranac revealed, “I failed my driver’s test the first time—well, the written test.” Although it's difficult to imagine the constantly successful social media celebrity failing at something, remember that she is only human.

However, things became even more difficult for the blonde model after the writing test. It became much more stressful when her formerly supportive mother turned on her. “My mom was like, I’m going to kill you if you fail the driving portion of it,” she recalled.

Spiranac also revealed that her younger self was already under pressure to pass the driving test on the first try. To make it worse, she was doing it in her “mom’s minivan! It’s a bow. I mean, this thing is huge,” she said.

Did Paige Spiranac pass the driver's test?

The fortune was on Spiranac's side. She was given a light test because the person administering it felt bad for her for having to do it in that enormous car. She said, “You touch the cone, you fail. And I lightly kissed it. And I look at the guy, and he’s like, It’s fine.”

The man had not seen many people take the exam in a vehicle that size. She remarked, “He’s like, no one usually does it in a minivan. Like I feel bad for you."

Spiranac also spoke about her happiness in satisfying her mother and acing the test in the first try. Knowing she didn't want to let her mother down, she stated, "I can't imagine if I would have failed that too!"
