Pattie Boyd wants Taylor Swift to play her in biopic: 'That would be a really lovely thing'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pattie Boyd, the 'Swinging Sixties' icon has an interesting wish! The English model who dominated the fashion industry with her glamorous look wants Taylor Swift to play her in the biopic. “We're both women whose lives have been deeply influenced by songs and song-writing,” she told the pop star when she interviewed her.

“I would love to have a film of my life. I think that would be a really lovely thing to be a part of." She didn’t take long to name who should play her, “Taylor Swift. That should do it.” The legendary figure has already inspired a couple of hits, including ‘Something’ by George Harrison, and ‘Wonderful Tonight' by Eric Clapton, reports Daily Mail.

Who is Pattie Boyd married to?

Boyd dominated the fashion world with her interesting lifestyle and partners in the 60s. She was also said to be of the most famous love triangle in rock history. Clapton, Harrison, and Boyd were in the spotlight after the model left Harrison for Clapton. However, they split in 1987. Boyd married Rod Weston, a property developer, in 2015.

Taylor Swift started the conversation with Boyd by asking ‘How it feels to be the source of inspiration for songs that the world sang all over the globe. Pattie said, “I find the concept of being a muse understandable when you think of all the great painters, poets, and photographers who usually have had one or two.”

Adding, “The artist absorbs an element from their muse that has nothing to do with words, just the purity of their essence.” Boyd further talked about her two husbands and the similarity between the two, “I think, in my case, both George and Eric had an inability to communicate their feelings through normal conversation. I became a reflection for them.”

'Nothing remains the same'

The former model also touched upon the incident when she was assaulted by a few fans during a concert in London, “In my first experience, I found it absolutely terrifying. I got to see the Beatles play at a theater in London, and George told me that I should leave with my friends before the last number. So before the last song, we got up from our seats and walked toward the nearest exit door, and there were these girls behind me. They followed us out, and they were kicking me and pulling my hair and pushing us all the way down this long passageway.”

In the end, Boyd shared some wisdom with Swift, "You have to remember that nothing remains the same. It’s always going to change. The whole world keeps changing, we keep changing, things in our lives keep changing. Nothing remains the same. If you’re happy or you’re sad, it’s not going to last forever. You just have to keep remembering that."
