With Día de Muertos just around the corner, Pokémon GO is hosting an event to celebrate the holiday. From Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. local time to Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. local time, this celebration will bring an array of themed tasks as well as avatar items and catchable Pokémon. Here is a breakdown of everything you need to know about Pokémon GO’s annual Día de Muertos celebration.
Pokemon GO Día de Muertos 2022: Pokémon
The following Ghost-type Pokémon are making their debut into Pokémon GO, wearing a cempasúchil crown:
- Duskull
 - Dusclops
 - Dusknoir
 
These Pokémon are joining the celebration, appearing exclusively in Latin America and the Caribbean as wild encounters during this time:
- Chinchou
 - Cubone
 - Drifloon
 - Litwick
 - Roselia
 - Sunkern
 - Swirlix
 - Yamask
 
For trainers not located in Latin America and the Caribbean, the following Pokémon will be attractable using Incense and Lure Modules:

The Field Research Tasks have not yet been released, however, trainers can look forward to encountering the Pokémon after completing them:
