Real Madrid will perhaps be ruing their 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Los Blancos had taken the lead in the game via a stunning strike from Vinicius Junior in the first half, and thoroughly dominated the second on Tuesday evening at the Santiago Bernabeu.

And then Kevin De Bruyne decided to go and score a brilliant long-range goal.

Here were Real Madrid's best and worst performers at the Bernabeu on Tuesday, courtesy of 90min's player ratings.

Real Madrid's best player vs Man City

Vinicius Junior: 9/10

Is Vinicius Junior now a top three player in the world?

After yet another brilliant performance in a high leverage UEFA Champions League game, it's hard to argue that he isn't.

The Brazilian was once again, as he usually is, at the heart of everything good Real Madrid did on Tuesday evening, linking up well with Eduardo Camavinga and Karim Benzema throughout to cause Man City's defence a whole host of problems.

To top it all off, Vinicius also scored a great goal on the night, cannoning the ball into the top left corner of the net from 25-yards out to give Real Madrid a lead they'd eventually surrender.

What. A. Player.

Honourable mention

Eduardo Camavinga: 8/10

He really doesn't want to be a full-back, but Eduardo Camavinga is currently the best full-back in the world.

The French starlet put in a commanding performance on the left of Madrid's back four, sweeping up defensively and working hard to get up the field at every opportunity too.

One such opportunity presented itself late in the first half, when Camavinga ran the guts of 60 yards with the ball before setting up Vinicius for his opening goal.

Real Madrid's worst player vs Man City

Rodrygo: 3/10

While Vinicius Junior was starring on the left flank, Rodrygo wasn't doing a whole lot on the other.

In truth, that wasn't entirely his fault as Real Madrid naturally funnelled most of their attacks down the left all evening, but in the fleeting moments where he did get a chance to create something on the ball he just didn't.

The Brazilian is capable of game-winning moments - last season's semi-final clash with Man City proved that - but didn't do enough on Tuesday evening.

Dishonourable mention

Toni Kroos: 5/10

Look, 5/10 isn't bad. It's, in fact, just utterly average. At this level though, 'utterly average' doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Kroos, as per, was tidy on the ball but explicitly lacked the legs needed to track the evasive movement of his opposite number Kevin Bruyne on the night.

Not his best performance.
