CANNES, FRANCE: Rebel Wilson celebrated her directorial debut ‘The Deb’ at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 24, throwing a spectacular yacht party in the style of sailor chic. The 43-year-old ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress looked incredibly fashionable in a black and white seafaring outfit.
She pulled her blonde hair back into a low, sweeping ponytail, and the chic outfit fitted her lovely form as if she was ready to take on the waves. Robbie Williams, the lead singer of ‘Take That’, joined Rebel for a 'Mamma Mia'-inspired celebration and looked just as stunning in a rainbow suit.

In the meantime, Sting and Trudie Styler appeared to be very much in love as they posed for pictures beside the stunning blue waves. ‘The Deb’ will turn the Australian musical comedy into a movie, and filming will start in September.
Rebel’s directorial debut
The movie, produced by Amanda Ghost, Len Blavatnik, and Gregor Cameron, tells the story of high school outsider Taylah and her feminist inner-city cousin Maeve during a debutante ball. Rebel will not only have a supporting role in the movie but also make her debut as a director. As they subsequently dove into the ocean while still wearing their costumes, the stars began the celebration with a performance of a few of the musical's songs.
Boy George, 61, of Culture Club, looked dapper in a gray cap and marbled shirt while sipping a drink. Adam Lambert, 41, wore oversized sunglasses, pink pajama-style shorts, and a pink top.
Singer Ella Henderson, 27, also attended the event dressed in black. Her outfit included a jacket with inflated sleeves and a provocative cut-out in the center that showed off a tiny bit of skin.
Rebel and Ramona’s romance
Rebel later demonstrated that she was settling into the party when she changed into a red cocktail dress to add to the colorful assortment of attire on display. Rebel revealed in June 2022 that she had fallen in love with Ramona, 42, the proprietor of the eco-friendly apparel line Lemon Ve Limon. This Mother's Day, Rebel and Ramona took to Instagram to celebrate their new motherhood.
The couple met for the first time in late 2021 thanks to a common acquaintance. In an earlier interview with People, Rebel recounted how they had made an effort to form a sincere connection before going on their first date.
Prior to making the relationship public and coming out of the closet, the couple had been dating for a number of months. She confirmed the engagement in February, releasing photographs of her proposal at Disneyland on Instagram.
The beautiful pictures showed her down on one knee with a Tiffany & Co ring for her future bride. Months later, Rebel astonished fans by announcing the birth of her surrogate daughter, Royce Lillian.
