Instead, she was seen rolling in the grass, covered by a huge American flag, which made it seem like she wasn't wearing anything at all. She shared the photo on her Instagram handle.
Unfortunately, some fans disagreed with Denise's decision to use the American flag in this way. They accused her of disrespecting the flag because, according to the Flag Code, it should never touch the ground.

The 'Wild Things' star posted a picture on Instagram where she is seen rolling on the grass, wrapped in a big American flag. She is lying on her back and looking down and to the side with her beautiful long eyelashes. She has one arm resting above her head, and her blonde hair spreads out around her. In the caption of the photo, she wrote, "I hope everyone has a safe and fantastic 4th of July!" along with heart emojis in red, blue, and white colors.

Denise received strong criticism from fans who felt she was disrespectful towards the American flag. One fan expressed their disapproval by commenting, "BOO!!! COMPLETE DISRESPECT FOR OUR FLAG!" Another fan, while expressing love for Denise, pointed out, "Girl, I love you, but the American flag is never supposed to touch the ground." Some fans even suggested, "Someone needs to remove that flag." Adding to the confusion, one fan questioned, "Is the flag supposed to be draped this way or is that a towel?"
