LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Apart from being jaw-droppingly gorgeous, Sam Asghari and Leonardo DiCaprio have something else in common, as Britney Spears’ estranged husband quipped amid the SAG-AFTRA strike, they both “have the same amount of jobs.”
On Thursday, August 31, the Tehran, Iran-born actor and model supported the striking actors by joining the picket line of SAG-AFTRA strike where he talked about the predicament of the striking actors and writers of the industry.
The strike has not only halted several projects but has also limited the income source of numerous people who are dependent on Hollywood.

While marching in Burbank, California, the 29-year-old model did not want to speak about his separation from the ‘Toxic’ singer. In an interview with TMZ, Asghari said, “We're not here to talk about my personal life.”
Adding that the main focus should be now on the labor crisis where the striking workers are striving for several issues, Asghari said, “We're here to raise awareness on my brothers and sisters working hard and striking for my future.”
Nevertheless, he further highlighted that he and DiCaprio, who is Hollywood’s one of the most prolific actors, are in a similar situation now as the strike has impacted everyone in the industry - even the ‘Titanic’ actor who has had a glorious career in Hollywood.
While talking about the lack of work, Asghari said, “That's the point of this strike - I have the same amount of jobs as Leonardo DiCaprio does.”
Asghari is, however, hopeful about the strike’s swift resolution as he said, “I hope everything gets resolved very fast,” while reasoning, “so we can all go back to what we love doing the most, which is making art and inspiring people.”
