LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez has a new crush in her life.
According to Entertainment Tonight, in a sneak peek of an upcoming episode of the cooking show, 'Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays', she and her friend Raquelle Stevens can be seen preparing an entire Christmas buffet with celeb chef Alex Guarnaschelli.
In the clip, Guarnaschelli teaches Gomez how to properly season and prepare a sizable roast, soon after, she says, "This is so fun!"
Stevens adds, "She's thriving! I think you're bringing out a whole side of Selena we haven't even seen," to which the pop star replies, "That's actually true. But I also have a crush on someone, so I'm kinda really happy."
Then, Guarnaschelli asks, "You have a crush on somebody?" and Gomez responds, "Yeah, I do. But we'll talk about it later."
Soon after Selena announced that she had a new crush, the social media users went into a frenzy.
One social media user wrote, "just wait when hailey copies her.."
A user commented, "she already did the cooking show though."
Another person chimed in, "I don’t like her but it’s getting annoying the “copying” thing is getting tired this was months ago.."
A comment read, "Hailey taking notes rn."
Followed by a critic who noted, "Rhodents are barking so bad."
Who is Selena Gomez's new crush?
Up until now, Selena Gomez has not revealed the name of her new crush.
A close source has told the media outlet that the 'Lose You To Love Me' singer is currently doing her thing when it comes to dating.
The source said, "Selena is casually dating and doing well. She is doing her own thing and doesn't feel any sort of pressure to be in a relationship."
The source went on to say, "She is just focusing on what's best for her right now and has been very in tune with maintaining her own boundaries," the source added. "Her friends and family support her and just want her to be happy."
Selena Gomez was last linked to Zayn Malik
The two music stars sparked romance rumors in March 2023 when a TikToker claimed that she and her friend saw them at a restaurant.
Around the same time, Gomez and Malik began following each other on Instagram. However, it seems like their romance fizzled out quickly as she quietly unfollowed him in June 2023.
Soon after, Malik also hit the unfollow button.
Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber's eyebrow feud
It all began in February 2023 when Gomez shared a makeup video on her TikTok page. The video showed her saying, "I accidentally laminated my brows too much.”
After a few hours, Kylie Jenner posted a picture of her eyebrows on social media. “This was an accident ?????” she captioned the picture.
Soon after, the Kylie Cosmetics founder dropped a picture of herself on a FaceTime call with her friend Hailey. In the snap, both of them flaunted their eyebrows.
Then, fans slammed both Jenner and Bieber for making fun of Gomez.
At that point, 'The Kardashians' star decided to break her silence on the whole matter.
She shared, “This is reaching. no shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.”
Hailey Bieber launches cooking show 'What's in My Kitchen?'
Earlier this year in April, Bieber launched her own cooking show called 'What's in My Kitchen?' which is a spinoff of her interview show, 'Who's in My Bathroom?'
The first season of her cooking show consisted of a total of 6 episodes.
