SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA: At the moment, country-pop star Shania Twain is traveling for her Queen of Me Tour in Canada.

The singer was traveling between Winnipeg and Saskatoon when the tour bus carrying her crew members rolled off the side of an icy highway, per a report by The Sun.

The tragic bus accident occurred on Wednesday, November 8, at around 7 am near Wolseley, Saskatchewan, about 60 miles east of Regina.

Several crew members were injured after the bus crash. It has been revealed by the media outlet that 13 crew members were rushed to the hospital after the brutal highway accident in Canada.

Fortunately, Twain's injured crew members are currently being treated for non-life-threatening wounds.

According to a statement issued by the singer's manager to People magazine, the accident involved a bus and a truck.

The manager's statement read, "One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon. Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. "

It further read, "Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals."

Shania Twain's manager reveals the pop star was not on the bus

Shania was not on the bus when the accident took place and is safe.

In the statement put out, Twain's manager said, "We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support."

The statement concluded, "We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”

For her Queen of Me Tour, the 'Any Man of Mine' singer has traveled all over the United States, Canada, and Europe.

The country-pop icon last hit the stage at the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Tuesday, November 7.

Twain's next performance is set to occur at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon on Thursday. However, in the wake of the accident, it is uncertain whether this performance will occur or see any delays.

Singing is Twain's passion. In 2009, she also served as the guest judge on the singing show 'American Idol' for the show's August 30 and August 31 episodes.

Twain kicked off her Queen of Me Tour in Spokane, Washington, on April 28, 2023.

Queen of Me Tour is the fifth tour by Twain, who is considered one of the best-selling music artists of all time. This is the singer's first tour in almost five years.

Twain made the big announcement of her tour along with her album 'Queen of Me' on October 28, 2022, on her Instagram page.

Announcing her album, she wrote, "I am unbelievably excited to announce 'Queen Of Me' - the new album and tour. These days, I'm feeling very comfortable in my own skin - and I think this album reflects that musically. Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered."

"I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you!" the singer added.

At that time, she wrote, "I want to celebrate this new chapter with you all on my tour! Vegas has been a dream, but I'm ready to be on the road and sing with you, dance with you and have a kick a** night out with you!"
