Singapore Airlines Ltd. reported record annual results despite flying at 78% of pre-Covid capacity and carrying almost 10 million fewer passengers than the 12 months through March 2020. Airfares remain elevated, and the carrier said bookings for China, Japan and South Korea are leading the rebound. Hong Kong rival Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. has a way to go before it gets to those lofty heights, with last year’s revenue still only about half of pre-pandemic levels.
