The San Antonio Spurs won Victor Wembanyama's debut in the NBA Summer League on Friday night despite the No. 1 overall pick shooting just 2-for-13 from the field.
Sunday's matchup between the Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers was expected to be a showdown between Wemby and No. 3 overall pick Scoot Henderson, but Henderson injured his shoulder in Portland's opener on Friday and will not play.
That's led to the Spurs – who have been dominant dating back to the California Classic – being favored again in this game.
Let's dive into the odds and my best bet for this Summer League matchup:

Spurs vs. Trail Blazers prediction and pick
The Spurs have dominated all summer even when Wemby hasn't played, and a lot of that is thanks to Julian Champagnie, who was the team's leading scorer again on Friday night against the Hornets.
Champagnie signed a four-year, $12 million deal with the Spurs this offseason, and he looks to be a true rotation piece with how much he's dominated this summer.
Portland will still have Shaedon Sharpe and some of its other young players in this game, but the loss of Henderson, who had 13 first quarter points against the Houston Rockets, is huge.
San Antonio covered as a 6.5-point favorite on Friday night, so I'll gladly lay the three points here with Wemby due to bounce back.
Pick: Spurs -3 (-110)
