Sylvester Stallone compares his daughters Sophia and Sistine's 'Family Stallone' feud to 'RHOBH': 'How'd I get here?'

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: The June 21 episode of 'The Family Stallone' centered around Sylvester Stallone‘s daughters Sophia and Sistine's pursuit of writing careers. One of them is further ahead than the other, which caused some unnecessary conflict. Sistine is having success with a horror movie script while Sophia is still working on a novel. Being completely open and honest, daddy Stallone compared her daughters' feud to that 'RHOBH', which did not amuse Sophia, as per Hollywood Life.

The 'Rocky' star is prepared to take on the most challenging role of his life after years of portraying larger-than-life characters on screen. The Stallones have entered the reality TV scene, adding some new competition for 'The Kardashians'. Along with his wife and children, Sylvester appears in the reality television show 'The Family Stallone' on Paramount+. Along with his three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet, Sly is accompanied on the unscripted show by his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone.

What happened between Sophia and Sistine?

At the beginning of the June 21 episode, Sophia confides in her father Sly that she has been struggling to write her novel because she puts so much pressure on herself to be ideal in all she does. She was told to back off because it took the legendary actor 20 different manuscripts to sell the idea for 'Rocky'. He advised her that nobody is expected to be perfect from the start. When Sophia voiced the same concern with her sisters, Sistine decided not to let her know how great her script writing had been going.

Sistine learned that MGM production was very interested in purchasing her horror movie script as she was almost nearing the end of writing it. She wanted to tell Sophia about the wonderful news, but she was afraid that she would get unhappy if she learned how successful her sister's writing career was. Consequently, Sistine informed everyone—apart from Sophia.

'How’d I get on The Housewives of Beverly Hills?'

When their mother, Jennifer Flavin, started probing into the matter over a family dinner date toward the episode's conclusion, Sistine realized that she had made the wrong decision to not tell her twin about her success. Sophia was astounded that Sistine would withhold such important information from her, and Sistine insisted that she hadn't done it intentionally.

She clearly didn't intend to offend her sister, but it did, and Sly couldn't take the sight of his daughters squabbling at the dinner table. The 'Creed' actor referred to Bravo's infamous 'Real Housewives' reunions and yelled out loud, "How’d I get on The [Real] Housewives of Beverly Hills?" before saying he felt like he was in the "year-end show." Sophia wasn't amused, but Jennifer laughed.

'The Family Stallone' vs 'The Kardashians'

In an earlier interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 76-year-old actor claimed that with 'The Family Stallone', the focus is on being "authentic" and not on imitating the structure of the long-running 'Kardashians' series. The family man also said that viewers of their unscripted show will get to see how he supports his daughters as they navigate their dating lives and deal with breakups.

His daughter Sistine responded to comparisons to the 'Kardashians' by saying, "They've done it so right. It works for them, and there would be no point copying them." Sly agreed with his daughter and stated that their main priority is authenticity. "Because that's what we are," he told the outlet at the time.
