Taylor Swift watching 'Taylor Swift' goes viral as fans hail singer's passion

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift presided over the Wednesday night premiere of her new concert film, 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,' as fans from all over the world eagerly awaited the most anticipated cinematic releases of the year.

The film by Sam Wrench, which was shot in August during the 33-year-old pop icon's sold-out six-night run at Inglewood's SoFi Stadium, hit the exclusive Grove shopping mall in Los Angeles on October 11, one day early.

The movie was slated to premiere on Friday, October 13. However, it debuted on Thursday after over $100 million in advance tickets were sold and a long line of people waited to get cinema tickets online.

The pop artist wrote on her Instagram, "Due to unprecedented demand we're opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on THURSDAY in America and Canada!!"

The movie accurately portrayed Swift's beloved and sold-out performances with a tenderness few witnessed during the stadium tour.

Swift's ballet flats and her many-hued fingernails were among the elements that were highlighted in the film, which was like a closer and sharper version of a stadium jumbotron.

'The Eras Tour' film 'offers a front-row seat to the grandeur'

Celebrities and Swifties filled the scene on Wednesday at the film's Los Angeles premiere on October 11. According to the New York Times, it was "perfect viewing for newcomers and superfans alike."

USA Today wrote, "The entire film offers a front row seat to the grandeur."

The movie theater chain Cinemark claims that domestic pre-sales records of the concert film are "10 times higher pre-sales than any other cinema engagement event."

According to AMC, the concert movie shattered the company's record for the biggest day-one ticket sales income.

The auditorium was packed with Swifties, including Simu Liu, Maren Morris, Adam Sandler, and his wife and two daughters, along with Swift's own camera crew.

Moreover, her staff invited some of the Swifties by direct message on X, formerly Twitter.

Sequined coats, glittering boots, pastel pouf dresses, and friendship bracelets were some of the concert-inspired attire worn by moviegoers at the premiere.

Swift pumped her arms, replicated her on-screen dance steps, bopped her head to the music, and grinned virtually nonstop throughout the movie. Fans were entertained to observe her as well as the movie.

The 'Karma' singer attended the screening along with her fans and they sang along with Swift as they watched her on the screen, singing songs like "Cruel Summer" and "Midnight Rain."

Fans hailed Taylor Swift’s passion while watching concert

Online fans couldn't hold back from praising the pop icon's passion for music soon after clips of Swift attending her concert went viral.

An X user, with the username @VIsOnCorneliaSt, and ardent Swiftie posted a clip of the singer enjoying her own concert film on the online platform, which let several Internet users hail the singer for her enthusiasm.

Following the viral clip of Swift dancing and singling along to her concert, one X user hailed and wrote, "Taylor Swift enjoying a night of dancing and singing to Taylor Swift with people who love and support her is THE most wholesome, precious, well deserved thing to happen in a long time Congrats to everyone who was there!"

A second fan exclaimed, "This makes me so happy!! I feel like we havent seen her dancing to her own music (when shes not performing them) in so long!!"

MediaVerse account also praised the singer and wrote, "This explains everything you could EVER want to know about why re recording her old songs was so important to her. She REALLY loves her own songs. She busts her a*s at the Era’s tour and is proud of what she’s made! @taylorswift13."

"Love that she brings herself the same energy as she gives every artist at every award show she attends," gushed another fan.

"This is the most wholesome content on the internet today!!" chimed in another.

One user typed with excitement, "She’s so cute. God when!!!! Imagine sitting beside Taylor Swift in a Taylor Swift’s concert. My godddddd!!!! What a wonder!"

How is 'The Eras Tour' movie comparable to Taylor Swift's tour?

Swift's live show on film clocks in at just under three hours, which is roughly 30 minutes less than her in-person performances during her six-month US tour (her global appearances begin in November), per USA Today.

She added 'Long Live' to the setlist in July, giving her live performances a set list of 45 songs, and the film, directed by Sam Wrench, only eliminates a small number of songs to make the running time more effective.

However, songs like 'The Archer,' 'No Body, No Crime,' 'Long Live,' 'Illicit Affairs,' 'Cardigan,' and 'Wildest Dreams' didn't make the cut.

Swift chose 'Our Song' as her single to "thank the people who liked me when I was a little teenager writing songs for my ninth-grade talent show," as she explains on stage in the movie.
