'The Bear' Season 2 trailer: Carmy tries opening new restaurant with same intensity and too much chaos

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In 2022, FX and Hulu stunned everyone with the comedy-drama series ‘The Bear’ and won numerous accolades. So, it didn’t come as a shock that the aforementioned networks decided to renew the series for a second season. For many months now, viewers have been waiting to see what will happen in the upcoming edition and how Carmy (Jeremy Allan White), along with his colleagues, will be able to turn his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop into an upscale restaurant. They got a glimpse of what’s going to happen with Carmy and others as FX unveiled the first full-length trailer for the second season and it’s as chaotic as the entire first edition.

The trailer starts with Carmen stressing out as he tries to turn his sandwich shop into something extraordinary. His friend and colleague, Chef Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), is leaving no stone unturned to help him achieve his dream. However, Carmen quickly realizes that things are going out of control as everyone tries to figure out how to do such a massive amount of work in just six months. Apart from building the restaurant, Carmen also tries to fix the menu by adding new dishes that will draw in the crowds.

'The Bear' Ending Explained: Did Carmen make his restaurant a success or succumb to the pressure?

New chefs are being hired for the 'chaotic' kitchen

New Chefs are also being interviewed to join the team, but everything seems to be too chaotic and Carmen doesn’t want to lose control. He looks calm and composed during the entire thing as he looks forward to creating something that has never been achieved before.

The focus is not just only on food this time around. Hospitality is also a major factor in Season 2 of ‘The Bear’ as the entire staff comes together to build something substantial and get to learn what it feels like to be in service.

Fans went berserk as soon as the trailer dropped and didn’t shy away from showing their excitement over the upcoming season. While some said “Real television is back”, others tried figuring out who is Carmen going to be with.

Fans say 'real television' is back

One of the fans wrote, “REAL TELEVISION IS BACK!!!” Another social media user tweeted, “The Bear coming back to me June 22. I will become the most annoying person alive TRUST!” Another social media user wrote, “It seems to be further upgraded from S1. I'm so excited..” Another user noted, “I can’t wait for the constant anxiety again!”

On the other hand, some users started guessing if Carmen is going to end up with Sydney or a new mystery girl played by Molly Gordon that gets introduced in the trailer. One user wrote, “What happened to the bear being strictly no romance???? If Carmy couldn’t be with Sydney why tf is he paired up with some random girl like?????? Be f***ing for real!!!!!” Another social media user tweeted, “If Sydney is not his love interest, then Carmy shouldn’t have a love interest at all IMO.” Another user wrote, “They expect me not to ship them when Carmy LOOKS AT SYDNEY LIKE THIS!?!!?!!?”

It would be interesting to see if Carmy and Sydney are going to end up being together or not. Another thing that’s going to make the second season even more interesting is Bob Odenkirk’s character. The ‘Better Call Saul’ star joins the show as a guest star and although his character is not shown in the trailer, it would be amazing to see what he brings to the show.

The cast of Season 2 also includes Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, Matty Matheson, Edwin Lee Gibson, and Oliver Platt.

‘The Bear’ Season 2 will be premiering exclusively on Hulu on June 22.
