LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Shameless’ star Jeremy Allen White’s wife Addison Timlin recently filed for a divorce after three years of marriage. The couple who got married in October 2019, have two daughters -- Ezer, 4, and Dolores, 2. However, the reason for their split is still unknown.
According to TMZ, Timlin filed for divorce on Thursday, May 11, 2022. Just four months ago while accepting the Golden Globe for ‘The Bear’, White spoke highly about his wife, “I love you deep in my bones. Thank you for all that you do, thank you for everything that you've done.”

Inside the relationship between White and Timlin
According to Us Weekly, the now estranged couple met on the sets of the film ‘Afterschool’ in 2008 when they were just teenagers. While the exact date when their relationship started is not known, it is speculated that the former couple started dating around 2013.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the ‘Zero Hour’ star said that she had a partner about whom she was secretive. “I've got a sweetheart who I will not disclose, but, yes, he'd be the guy,” she said. However, she highlighted then that the foundation of their relationship was made in strong friendship, “We have a nice foundation from being friends for a long period of time." "Going a classical way their friendship blossomed into romance as she said, adding, "... then it took a hard right turn into romance.”
White, who is a father to two girls, gave a glimpse of his domestic life in an interview with NPR in 2022, she said, “I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old at home. When my wife and I put them to bed, we don't want to think about anything,” before adding, “So we're into the housewives. We're into "Below Deck." That's our speed right now.” he further added then, “... Once the girls are in bed, yeah, we're - we want to turn our brains off.”

When White won the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards in 2023, Timlin took to her Instagram to gush about the father of her children and said, “When we were 14 years old and I saw you perform for the first time in drama class, I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. When we’d run your lines for Shameless I’d be so tickled knowing before hand what everyone would get to witness the next day on set,” before adding, “When I watched the pilot for The Bear, I cried my f**king heart out. I think somewhere I must’ve known how much life was about to change, but mostly I just knew that the world was about to discover what I’ve known all along.”
She further added, “What a privilege it’s been to know first. I love this picture so much because you look 14 and 31 at the same time- watching you win on Tuesday was one of the most overwhelming dimension hopping moments of my whole life, watching you win last night while holding our two babies was pretty out of this world too. Daddy winned [sic] another trophy winners cup. We’re so proud.” To the post, White reacted with a, "Love you."
In 2022, Timlin wished White on his birthday with a long post, where she wrote, "Happy birthday to the ultimate dad, protector, husband and friend. Thank you for making our kids feel safe enough to be so brave. Thanks for not letting us go out to sea with all of our big feelings and small catastrophes. You do that all of the time. I can’t believe how much life we’ve done in 31 years, how we’ve had more life together than apart, how old we feel for being so young. There’s so much to be proud of and to look forward to, I’ll be here to remind you of that for the rest of your life. I feel so lucky to have witnessed about 100 different versions of you but this one is my favorite. I hope you feel like the hero you are to us-today and everyday. I love you."
In 2021, Timlin wished White on their anniversary with a sweet note, "Happy anniversary baby. My favorite thing on planet earth (besides our kids) is saying “my husband.” You are the greatest person I’ve ever met and you make my life seem touched by God. I know you think this public display of affection is goofy but there isn’t a rooftop I won’t shout it from, I love you!! This year was hard but we love harder."
