LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Five’ host Jessica Tarlov is receiving a lot of flak from the fans and followers of the talk show for her political commentary.
The 39-year-old Fox News anchor was one of the panel members on ‘The Five’ to discuss the recently concluded GOP debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Tarlov's criticism of the GOP debate did not go over well with the show's fans, who questioned Jessica’s motives and found her views to be completely "annoying," stating that she was not an “expert on anything."
What did Jessica Tarlov say about GOP debate that made fans angry?
‘The Five was on the air discussing the events that occurred at the GOP debate in Wisconsin. Jesse Watters hosted the talk show and asked all the panelists, from Judge Jeanine to Greg Gutfeld, their opinions about the debate.
When Jesse turned the conversation to Jessica, he referred to her as the “only democrat” in the group and asked, “Do you fear any of these people?”
Jessica straightened up and sarcastically remarked, “Quaking in my boots.”
The 39-year-old spoke about how she was glad that the absence of former President Donald Trump, allowed the other candidates to have an advantage to talk about themselves.
She later moved on to slam Vivek Ramaswamy for copying Barack Obama’s “skinny guy” speech and stated that despite being a Republican, Vivek plagiarised a “Democrat’s speech.”
However when she called out Vivek’s hypocrisy of taking a scholarship for law school despite having millions in his bank account, Jesse intervened, “Someone offers you a scholarship and you have a million dollars in your account, so you don’t take it?”
Jessica immediately clarified that it was her “understanding that Vivek shouldn't have taken it.”
This didn’t sit well with Jesse who retorted, “Oh so he’s not worthy of a scholarship?”
Jessica did her best to make her case but failed. Later when she tried to go on about Nikki Haley, co-host Greg Butfeld told her to “stop it” before Jesse intervened again and said, “Why don’t we all stop it?”
Jessica’s half-hearted interpretation of the GOP debate candidates did not go over well with supporters, who clearly voiced their opinion of her being fired again.
‘The Five’ fans ask Fox News to ‘wake up' and get rid of Jessica Tarlov
After 'The Five' ended with its discussions of the GOP debate, fans once again flocked to social media to express their disapproval of Jessica Tarlov’s opinions.
One user wrote in all caps, "NOBODY LIKES JESSICA!!! WAKE UP FOX” while a second stated, “What makes Jessica an expert anything?”
Another viewer said, “Producers of the five take note and read these comments. No one wants Tarlov on. Her voice is beyond annoying and so are her views. Enough is enough.”
A viewer added, “BRAVO. Jesse for Putting Jessica in her place” while a fifth mentioned, “How does Jessica still have a job??? Please "Geraldo" her!!!”
One viewer stated, “Why Jessica? She gets more intolerable every time she opens her mouth.”
