LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Game and 50 Cent, two well-known rap artists who once ruled the world, have been engaged in a bitter dispute since 2005.

Recent reports suggest that on Thursday, August 31, The Game, appeared to reignite his protracted conflict with the 'Candy Shop' hitmaker, per the Daily Mail.

Game referred to Cent as a "fat a**" in an Instagram video that included footage of the latter appearing to hurl a microphone into the audience at his show in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 30.

Game reportedly taunted Cent for allegedly hitting a female concertgoer in the head with his microphone, causing her to sustain a cut on her forehead.

When did the beef between The Game and 50 Cent begin?

A long-running beef between Game and Cent started in 2005. Dr Dre added Game to G-Unit to increase his visibility before the release of his debut album, 'The Documentary,' which included three tracks with Cent.

Things soured between the two when 'The Massacre', Cent's follow-up album, was delayed so that Game's debut album would receive more attention, as per The Sun.

In addition to his beef with Game, Cent also had a feud with Jimmy Lovine of Interscope Records and Dr Dre.

During a radio broadcast, Cent said that Game was "gone," and when the latter attempted to re-enter the radio station that night, one of his friends was shot in the leg by a security guard, per The Sun.

The rest of the G-Unit walked out of the back door of the station.

Game said, "50 and I are proving that real situations and real problems can be solved with real talk." After that, the two said they would end their feud.

However, it was all in vain since Game was expelled from G-Unit, and then Cent and Game started releasing songs that were critical of one another.

Game was sorry for what had occurred involving the group, Dr Dre, and Jimmy Lovine. He wanted to apologize to Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine and talk with 50 Cent, but his efforts did not pay off.

G-Unit refused to apologize and by that point, more than 100 songs featuring the duo taking shots at each other had been made public.

Has the conflict between The Game and 50 Cent ever been resolved?

In 2010, Game made another attempt to put an end to the dispute by asking Cent to address it on X, then Twitter.

There has been no response from Cent, and in 2012 he released a song with Eminem and Adam Levine that was allegedly directed at Game.

The Game responded with yet another diss tune in response to Cent's accusation that the song was written two years before its release.

When G-Unit first split up, Game sought to bring them back together and asked fans to sign a petition, but they were not interested in working with him.

Despite what Game had previously claimed, in October 2013, he released a mixtape called 'OKE' (Operation Kill Everything).

He reportedly insulted Cent and G-Unit in it, and afterward, the group got back together without Game, per The Sun.

Fans ask why The Game hates 50 Cent so much

In response to the feud, fans have begun to wonder why The Game despises 50 Cent so much.

"Why the game hate 50 cent so much," asked a user. "The only way the game can make him self relevant is by mentioning 50 cent," wrote a second fan.

A third user mentioned, "That man dont miss an opportunity to dunk on 50." Another person noted, "That beef too old now."

Another tweeted, "It will never end."
