TEXAS: Lexi Goldberg is pretty sure that she can spend her 'forever' with Mal Wright. However, on the other hand, Mal seems to still be confused with her decisions. Ever since Mal and Lexi went ahead with their trial marriage, Mal's view toward marriage changed. She is now open to exploring the togetherness of forever without delaying with excuses.
Mal's long-time friend Alicia sowed the seed of confusion in Lexi's head as she questioned their relationship. Alicia said to Lexi, "You just can't negate the love Mal has for Yoly." Without any hesitation, Mal affirmed, "Fair." Even though Lexi and Mal sync well together, Mal still has feelings towards her ex which she can't ignore. Moreover, in recently released episodes of 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' Mal opened up about what she has been trying to protect herself from. And, this seems to take aback Lexi for a moment.
What is Mal Wright protecting herself from?
On the final day of the trial marriage, Lexi was seen trying her best to hold on to every last moment she had with Mal. As she lay on their bed with candle lights on, Lexi confessed, "Because we only have tonight, I'm like...you know, I'm just feeling more." She then hit the big question in a subtle sentence, saying, "I'm trying not to shy away from you getting to that next step." Mal seems to have hesitated a bit and said, "I didn't know this conversation would go there." She further confessed that she believes she is going to be a "mess" in the next three weeks. Lexi looked toward Mal with hope as she said, "I don't want this to end." However, instead of providing any affirmation, Mal claimed, "I don't know how to best deal with what's happening."
Mal further confessed that she tends to pull away from people. She backed her behavior by saying, "It's really me just trying to protect myself." Lexi seems to feel disappointed with Mal's claim and instantly asked, "From what though?" Mal replied, "Feeling. Feeling sad."
Mal Wright is in 'gray area' when it comes to choosing between Lexi Goldberg and Yoly Rojas
As Mal's college friend Alicia came to meet Lexi, she stirred their relationship by sowing the seed of confusion. Alici hit Mal with a question, saying, "If Yoly were to come in here right now and be like 'F all this, let's do it now,' what would you say?" Mal, who seems to not be sure about her situation, replied, "We would have a lot to talk about I can tell you that." Alicia then claimed, "So, it's gray." Mal without any doubt thought said, "Yeah." Clearly, Lexi did not like Mal's answer. She was left speechless seeing Mal not be sure about what she wanted.
