'The Voice' Season 24: Who is BIAS? Singer makes it to Team Gwen with husband Blake Shelton's hit

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Grant Bias, a 23-year-old Chattanooga native, sang 'God's Country' by former coach Blake Shelton on 'The Voice' Season 24.

Reba McEntire took the stage first, followed by Gwen Stefani, who was mouthing the lyrics of her husband's song.

While John Legend was reminiscing about his pal Blake, BIAS, 23, was performing flawless Blake impersonations for the producers backstage.

The worship leader and country performer picked 'God's Country' as a method to catch Gwen's attention and, perhaps, gain a seat on the program.

Gwen and Reba pressed their buttons for the third time that night for another head-to-head.

Niall Horan noted "pitch issues" that prevented him from turning around, but conceded that the song is difficult to sing.

Gwen stated that she admired his "spirit" and "energy" and wished to assist him in bringing them out more.

Reba was persuaded to press her button after observing the audience's reaction to his performance.

'The Voice' Season 24 singer BIAS picks Team Gwen

BIAS walked in with the purpose of catching Gwen's attention by singing one of her husband's best songs, and it succeeded — so much so that she briefly took the Shelton surname to keep the guy on her side.

His friends at the chicken place where he used to hang out weren't lying when they said he could do a Blake imitation.

Sure, his tones were a little brassier, and he couldn't quite hit the bottom notes of this frantic favorite, but Reba and Gwen both heard enough to make a move for the guy.

Despite the fact that either would have been an excellent match for his talents, he came in with a strategy and stuck to it.

As a known "tot guy," BIAS might have sided with the 'Queen of Country,' but instead surprised everyone by siding with Gwen.

'The Voice' Season 24 singer BIAS sang over 400 gigs in college

On LinkedIn, Grant Bias portrays himself as a country singer, music producer, and full-time musician.

He doesn't appear to have released any music, however, he co-wrote "First Things First," which was released by the Oklahoma-based Christian band Consumed by Fire.

That song topped the iTunes Christian & Gospel music list in April. Bias has a plethora of covers on Instagram and TikTok.

Many are duets, however, he sings alone on 'Cold' by Chris Stapleton, 'Love You Anyway' by Luke Combs, and 'Simple Things' by Teddy Swims.

BIAS married Karley last fall, and two of his Instagram collaborations are with her - Brandon Lake's 'Lost in Your Love' and Cam's 'Burning House.'

He is from Little Rock, Arkansas, resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attended the University of Mobile in Alabama, according to his Facebook account.

He spent three years in college singing over 400 gigs with the vocal ensemble Voices of Mobile, which gave him the opportunity to sing in Romania, Cuba, England, and even the White House.

Why did Blake Shelton quit 'The Voice'?

Blake confessed in an interview that he has been contemplating leaving The Voice for some time.

"I think I was close to calling it a day right when COVID hit," he stated on TODAY in February 2023.

"And then, because of COVID, I didn't want to walk away from the show and leave everybody in a bind. I mean, this show changed my life. I’ll stay here until the world kind of gets back to normal again," he said.

'The Voice' Season 24 airs every Monday and Tuesday on NBC at 8 pm ET.
