LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Following the R&B singer Cassie Ventura’s accusations of rape and abuse against the music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, Kimora Lee Simmons has allegedly shaded the rapper in a new social media post, or at least the netizens think so.
After the ‘Me & U’ singer filed a lawsuit against Diddy on Thursday, November 16, Simmons took to her Instagram Stories on the same day and wrote, "As you sow, so shall you reap," accompanying the cryptic message with a single red heart emoji.
While the Baby Phat creator has not name-dropped Diddy in the post, the fans are convinced that the message is meant for none other than the founder of Bad Boy Records.
To substantiate their claim, they even brought out an old connection between Simmons and Diddy as they both had a common link in the form of the former’s best friend Kim Porter - who also happened to be the rapper’s ex-partner.
Internet speculates about Kimora Lee Simmons' cryptic Instagram Story
After Kimora Lee Simmons posted her cryptic oneliner on her Instagram Stories, many fans were convinced that the Baby Phat creator was shading Diddy.
One said, "Kimora Lee Simmons has entered the chat. This Surviving Diddy documentary is going to be crazy!"
Another wrote, "It’s crazy how they all talking now. But if Cassie didn’t speak. Everyone would still be silent," while a person added, "We need to hear from her, Al b sure, Jaguar wright, and others thats been there from jump."
A stunned netizen questioned, "So alllll these folks including Cassie knew wtf was goin on but nobody wanted to say anything till 17yrs later????"
"Wow... Kimora probably tries to stay quiet to keep a relationship with the girls for Kim. This is going to get so crazy," noted someone else.
A person exclaimed, "Yoh . The unfolding of all of this will be crazy," with one more saying, "That’s Kims best friend! If she saying something Diddy is in for it!"
"Some times all you need is one to activate the snowball affect," remarked another.
"Kimora Lee Simmons has seen it ALL in this industry. She also is a staunch believer that Kim Porter’s death was not pneumonia and tried to alert the authorities Diddy may have contributed to it. Those rumors were everywhere," observed a user.
Another claimed, "Kimora Lee Simmons has also been rumored to be making a case against Diddy as well. Kim was one of her closest friends and she was the one that found her so she knows Diddy is hiding something scary."

Connection between Kimora Lee Simmons and Diddy
When Diddy’s former girlfriend and the mother to his four children, Kim Porter, died, Kimora Lee Simmons was devastated.
Simmons, who was Porter’s best friend, was the first person to get informed about her death. The hip-hop mogul and Porter were in an on-and-off relationship for more than two decades between 1994 and 2007.
The actress, who died aged 47 in 2018, was said to be suffering from pneumonia for the past few days before her death. Her cause of death was determined to be lobar pneumonia by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
However, following Ventura's accusations, fans have since restarted speculating the original cause of Porter’s death.
Even her ex-husband and father to Porter’s eldest son Quincy, singer Al B. Sure! Casted doubt on her death.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Al B. Sure! wrote, "Just found this footage from the morning I learned of @LadyKP’s aka #KimPorters murder and how it ripped the soul from my physical body," as per HipHopDX.
He added, "I do know very clearly that #Kimberly didn’t just check out all of a sudden over pneumonia. That’s some bull s**t."
Several fans have thus called for the reopening of Porter’s death case so that all doubts surrounding her death could be cleared. Since Simmons was her best friend, the Internet also speculates she might have guessed if something was amiss surrounding Porter’s death.
Porter was also purportedly writing a tell-all book before her passing and many believe Simmons has pertinent knowledge about that book, as per Atlanta Black Star.
