NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ beloved host Hoda Kotb has finally revealed her whereabouts in new adorable pics with her family amid her continued absence from the NBC show.
Kotb took to Instagram to share where she was after being absent from the morning show.
Savannah Guthrie was also absent from the show on Monday and Kotb’s absence was reportedly filled in by various hosts such as Sheinelle Jones, Peter Alexander, Craig Melvin, and Kristen Welker.
For this entire week, Kotb remained absent and her co-host Melvin made sure to update the viewers of their beloved journalist’s absence.
On Monday, he kicked off the segment adding, “And a very good morning to you. Thanks so much for joining us on this Friday morning here on Today.”
He continued, “Savannah and Hoda are off. Sheinelle is with me a little bit early. Good morning to you.”
Hoda Kotb’s family time
‘Today’ host Hoda Kotb shared adorable snaps on her Instagram as she enjoyed her time with her family. Kotb posted several snaps from her location as she rejoiced in the warm weather.
Her snaps included her sister, Hala, and her two daughters, Haley and Hope. Further, she also posted a picture of the bright moon gazing over the ocean and a sunset.
She captioned the post, “We took this picture of the moon last night..our last hurrah of summer! We are ready for you September— see you in the morning.”
While she did not reveal her exact location, the pictures she shared included a gorgeous sunset on a boat, a moon overlooking a waterbody, and chaotic family photos.
Hoda Kotb’s call for help
Only last week, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager tried on bizarre products during the Tool Time segment on 'Today with Hoda and Jenna' and took turns to guess what old-looking beauty gadgets were used for.
The name or the description for the products weren’t given to the hosts and one product caught their attention.
Kotb and Hager stumped on a product that appeared to be a tan cloth with two big holes. Although Kotb didn’t even guess what it could be, Hager had her quirky ideas.
Hager asked, “Do your eyes go in there? Oh no, your eyes don't fit there."
She quickly added, "Is this for your boobs?" while putting the cloth over her breasts.
Despite Hager’s NSFW remark, Kotb was still confused and signaled for help to identify the product.
Later, it was revealed that the product was an anti-wrinkle mask that could be wrapped around the chin and head and the holes were used for the ears.
