NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ meteorologist Al Roker recently shared he's travelling to a mystery location after teasing his fans about a new adventure.
On Friday, September 29, Roker jetted off to a location which he kept a secret from his followers.
This came after Roker reported from Universal Studios in Florida at the end of the week for a segment at the park’s new Minion Land.
Following this, he didn't just go back to New York but ventured off to another exciting new destination.
What is Al Roker’s mysterious location?
After visiting Florida, Roker took to Instagram to share a new video on Friday afternoon adding, “Welcome to the airport. Heading off on another trip,” as he teased his fans without revealing the location.
He strolled through the terminal wearing a blue striped button-up shirt, a dark suit jacket and a beige fedora.
The meteorologist used this ideal moment to promote one of his favorite 'Today' activities – the show's walking program.
He said, “Guess what, a lot of folks coming up for November gonna be starting that holiday travel. And maybe you’ll be doing a Turkey Trot, maybe you’ve got a local 5K you wanna do.”
He went on to mention that ‘Today’ offers three distinct programs to assist viewers in preparing for either a walking or running event of their choice.
Nonetheless, Roker shared another video on Saturday that coincidentally pointed to his new location.
The 69-year-old was pleased to show the exterior of the Louvre in Paris against the backdrop of a brilliant cerulean sky.
Roker playfully hinted as he entered the frame, “Well, I guess you can figure out where I am.”
He revealed that he was in Paris to visit his daughter, Leila, who resides in the “beautiful City of Lights."
After promoting ‘Today's’ walking challenge, Roker mentioned that he was taking leisurely strolls around the city upon his arrival.
"I got to tell ya, I’m not rushing around, just walking around, and, man, before I knew it, I’ve got between the airport and just walking 16,000 steps. Bam! Just like that!”
In the caption accompanying the post, the television personality wrote, "Stepping lightly in the city of lights and hoping you’re having a super Saturday ..."
