NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ beloved pair Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager’s ‘cozy’ friendship has been labelled fake by a body language expert as per The US Sun.

Kotb and Hager's on-screen camaraderie sparkles with genuine warmth, creating a delightful synergy that transcends the confines of their roles on the ‘Today’ Show.

Their infectious laughter, shared anecdotes, and mutual support reflect a friendship that appears to be as authentic behind the scenes as it is in front of the camera.

However, an expert claim that Kotb shouts over and over the former first daughter and appeared “cynical” in an Instagram clip.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager’s friendship called ‘fake’

The astounding claims came after Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager unveiled an unexpected Christmas single named "Carefree Christmas", featuring an album cover capturing their festive spirit with red scarves and Santa hats.

Leading up to the music release, a teaser on Instagram had the duo discussing the project.

However, body language expert Judi James observed a potential hint of skepticism from Kotb towards Hager, noting instances where the former seemed to talk over her.

While presenting their album cover, Kotb mentioned the "star of the show" wasn't pictured, and both hosts credited Cheryl, their singing teacher.

In an exclusive interview with The US Sun, body language expert James, suggested that Kotb and Hager’s on-screen friendship might not be as genuine as it appears.

She said, “Hoda and Jenna's body language is totally out of sync. When they try to sync to suggest friendship and rapport, it is minimal.”

James continued, “They constantly talk over each other and with no segue linking. This creates an air of competitive behavior.”

"Hoda sits back in her chair, speaking loudly enough to be the most dominant.”

She explained, "She shouts out and over Jenna without any softness or affection, like a boxing MC shouting boxers into the ring. Her vibe toward Jenna is even cynical."

James observed Hager seemingly grappling to generate interest and sales for the Christmas single, noting, "Jenna waves her hands around as though she is on QVC."

James also pointed out, “She even chops at her own arm. This suggests a sense of frustration to get her sales pitch heard over Hoda's shouting."

In April this year, Kotb and Hager celebrated four years together at NBC.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager’s career move

Earlier this week on ‘Today’ show, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager enthusiastically announced their foray into the music industry, unveiling a new holiday song they recorded together.

Simultaneously, they joyfully revealed the title of the track, "A Carefree Christmas!" The cover artwork for the single appeared on screen as they shared the exciting news.

The cover showcased Kotb and Hager donning matching white sweaters, red scarves, and Santa hats.

Kotb enthusiastically shared, "We've actually cut a single. It drops on Wednesday. People are talking about it, and by people, I mean me and Jenna. No one else."

In good humor, Hager chimed in, jesting, "Do you think Jimmy Fallon will have us on to perform?"

After playfully bantering about the possibility of appearing on Jimmy Fallon, Kotb momentarily shifted to a sincere note to give a special shout-out during the ‘Today’ show.

"Really, the star of the show is not pictured here," she said, referring to the album artwork.

Hager added that Cheryl, their singing teacher, is the true "star of the show."

Kotb emphasized, “Cheryl is a person who could teach anybody to sing. She has her own technique. She's amazing. She is like joy personified. She ran us through the paces, had us try to learn.”

Hager chimed in, “And it will sound good because of her. We only have one song on the album. But, you guys, it could be the first of many, many singles.”

She then joked about the potential for more singles, with Hoda acknowledging, “If we do, it’d be a Christmas miracle.”
