'Toddlers and Tiaras' contestants now
The reality show 'Toddlers and Tiaras' aired on TLC from 2009 to 2016. The show sparked controversy because it highlighted the private lives of families competing in a child beauty pageant and because of the provocative dressing and behavior of the children. More than a decade after the show first aired, we take a look at where the contestants stand today.
Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson
Alana Thompson appeared in 'Toddlers and Tiaras' alongside her mother, June Shannon. She later starred in their own reality show, TLC's 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.' In 2018, she participated in 'Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.' According to Us Weekly, she moved in with her half-sister Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Shannon, her current legal guardian. As in 2021, Thompson hoped to become a neonatal nurse.
Ava Perez
Ava Perez was among the youngest contestants on 'Toddlers and Tiaras.' Her father, David, was her support throughout the show. His impeccable expertise in costume designing, routine choreographing, and hair and makeup made her a noteworthy cast. However, Perez is no longer present in the beauty pageant world. She has moved on and is now a regular child.
Danielle Kirby
After a decade of participating in the show, Danielle Kirby continued her pageantry journey. In 2021, she competed for the Miss Nevada USA 2021 but did not win. She was also enrolled in a psychology degree at Post University to become a therapist.
Eden Wood
After 'Toddlers and Tiaras' Eden Wood appeared in her TV show 'Edens World.' She currently works as an actress and a gamer. She graduated high school as class valedictorian in May 2023.
Isabella Barrett
After the end of the show, Isabella Barrett became a successful influencer. She stayed in the limelight as a model and is also a self-described millionaire with her jewelry line.
Kailia Posey
Best known for 'Toddlers and Tiaras,' Kailia Posey continued participating in beauty pageants, winning the Miss Lynden, Washington Teen in 2021 and Miss Springfield, Missouri Teen in 2022. Posey also starred in the 2019 Netflix horror movie 'Eli.' She died of suicide at the age of 16 in May 2022.
Lianna Pirraglia
Liana Pirraglia was the underdog of the pageant world. However, she continued to explore the life of a performer by attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan. After starring in some short films, she made her feature debut with the 2021 film 'Lock Down Love.' Pirraglia was also a 2022 Hooters International Calendar Girl.
Madison 'Tootie' Berg
Madison 'Tootie' Berg has left pageantry behind and has moved on to a new career. According to her Instagram profile, she holds a master's degree in reading literacy and works as a kindergarten teacher.
Sprinkle Sisters
The trio, Elizabeth, Makayla, and Savanna Sprinkle, have gone down different paths after the show, juggling marriages, college, and chicken pageants. In a conversation with People in 2021, Makayla wished to work as a fitness trainer, Elizabeth, a professional makeup artist, and Savanna wanted to open a rehab facility for native wildlife.
Tiara Twins
According to People back in the day, Alycesaundra and Giavanna Lyerly, dubbed 'Tiara Twins,' were infamous for their "over-the-top gowns, custom tour bus, bodyguard and outspoken mom." Both have discovered new hobbies, like knives and crossbows, outside of permanent life. Alycesaundra is now a fashion designer and launched the brand AlycesaundraL. Giavanna continued in the glamour world and was crowned the 2021 Today's International World Teen.
