While there is no confirmation from either side, sources have claimed that the ‘Mission Impossible’ star was "extremely interested in pursuing" Shakira, and was "desperate" for a date with her even though she was “not interested” in dating him at the time. Now, it has also been alleged that Cruise was "giddy" when he first met the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ hitmaker, who last year announced her split from ex-husband Gerard Piqué.
