The movie went on to become a gigantic hit and many publications put it in their Top 10 lists. Lopez was considered to be the shining star of the movie and everyone applauded her performance. She went on to receive a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Golden Globes and SAG Awards.
The actress was poised to be nominated at the Oscars, but sadly, she wasn’t included in the list. Many felt that she was snubbed and should have received a nod.
