Popular Warzone creator WhosImmortal revealed in a recent video that the AS44 is a dominant AR this season. The reveal comes after a recent update in which Warzone devs implemented numerous weapon tweaks and balanced out the meta. Top guns like the Marco 5 and NZ-41 got heavy nerfs.
WhosImmortal claims that the AS44 is a "monster at all ranges" making it one of the most versatile ARs in the game. Despite the popular creator backing the AS44, it has not broken into the meta yet, and only has a 0.6% pick rate.
Despite the low usage from the Warzone community, WhosImmortal swears by the AS44 and here's the loadout he provides:
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 615mm
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Kovalevskaya Custom
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
- Perk: Disable
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
It is worth noting that WhosImmortal mentions the AS44 isn't the easiest gun to use. It has high recoil, but also has a higher TTK so if players can hit their shots, they can easily mow down their opponents from any range.
SInce the AS44 can be used effectively at all ranges, it opens up a lot of flexibility to the player when it comes to secondary weapons. We recommend using a SMG such as the VLK when playing Rebirth Resurgence, or maybe a sniper such as the Kar98k.
