Today's USMNT news includes Brenden Aaronson being linked with Fulham, Taylor Booth could be on his way to Manchester United and we focus on Matt Turner's commitment to the Stars and Stripes.
USMNT news: Brenden Aaronson to Fulham
There have been a lot of clubs linked with Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams this summer. However, there is another USMNT player at Elland Road that will be looking to leave the club following their relegation to the Championship in Brenden Aaronson.
The Daily Mail has reported that "Fulham have made an approach to sign Brenden Aaronson on loan from LeedsUnited. Manager Marco Silva wants the USA international to play in a number ten role for Fulham next season and is keen to land a bargain signing.
"Aaronson, 22, who joined Leeds last summer from Red Bull Salzburg for £24.7million, has a relegation clause that allows him to leave on loan. However, Fulham have so far failed to meet the full conditions of the loan."
Moving to Fulham would be good for Aaronson as it will give him the opportunity to continue playing for a Premier League side. At Craven Cottage he will also be reunited with fellow Americans Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson.
The Cottagers had an impressive campaign last season where they finished 10th and got to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. If Silva can bolster his side further, they could challenge for European soccer qualification and get to the latter stages of the cup competitions.
USMNT news: Taylor Booth to Manchester United
Manchester United manager Eric ten Hag is known to be an admirer of Utrecht player Taylor Booth. Now that the Red Devils have seen multiple bids turned down by Chelsea for Mason Mount, the club will be looking at other options to improve their midfield.
According to ESPN, United has enquired about the availability of Booth. They also mentioned that the ten Hag's side is also looking at Brighton's Moises Caicedo and Mohammed Kudus of Ajax.
Booth is a very talented player who has starred for Utrecht in the Eredivisie. However, the Premier League will be a massive step up for the USMNT midfielder. It remains to be seen if Booth would challenge for a starting spot right away or look to go out on loan if he makes the move to Old Trafford.
USMNT news: Matt Turner's commitment
Matt Turner saved a penalty for the USMNT against Jamaica in their opening game of the Gold Cup. The save prevented the Reggae Boyz from doubling their lead which allowed Brandon Vazquez to score a late equalizer for the Stars and Stripes.
Turner has already played in the USMNT's Nations League-winning side this summer and his attitude has been earning him a lot of praise.
After the game against Jamaica last weekend, Kyle Bonn reported that "head coach BJ Callaghan said tonight that Matt Turner came to the coaching staff and asked to play in both Nations League and Gold Cup tournaments. Callaghan praised Turner for his commitment and dedication to the team, a reason why he was captain tonight."
Tuner does not get regular game time at Arsenal, as he is second-choice to Aaron Ramsdale. However, despite only playing in Europa League and FA Cup games last season, Turner has continued to be one of the USMNT's best performers and has not let the side down.
