Today's USMNT news includes Christian Pulisic officially joining AC Milan. Malik Tillman has been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt and Weston McKennie is not part of Juventus' future plans.
USMNT news: Christian Pulisic joins AC Milan
Landon Donovan may have surprisingly thought that Christian Pulisic should have come to MLS instead of going to Serie A. However, Christian Pulisic has now officially joined AC Milan from Chelsea which is a great move for the USMNT captain.
Pulisic was not getting enough game time at Stamford Bridge and the player addressed this in his Presentation Press Conference which was streamed on Milan's YouTube channel. The player said "It was a difficult last few seasons with Chelsea. For whatever reason I wasn't getting the opportunities I wanted. For me, (joining Milan) it's a brilliant opportunity to step away, get a fresh start and play for a big team like this."
Milan obviously rates Pulisic highly as they have given him the number 11 shirt, which was last worn by Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the club.
Folarin Balogun who played for Arsenal in a pre-season friendly against Nurnberg last night has also been linked with Milan. Although, Pulisic has admitted that he has not spoken to Balogun yet about joining him at the club.
USMNT news: Malik Tillman to Eintracht Frankfurt
It has been revealed that Malik Tillman will not likely be going back to Rangers where he spent last season on loan from Bayern Munich at. Whilst he has been linked with Brighton and Brentford, there are reports emerging that he could be set to join another Bundesliga side.
According to the Daily Record, "Eintracht Frankfurt are poised to foil Rangers once more as they line up a swoop for Malik Tillman." The German side beat the Gers in the final of the Europa League two seasons ago. So it would be very annoying for Rangers if Frankfurt were to prize Tillman away from a move back to Glasgow also.
USMNT news: Weston McKennie not in Juventus' plans
Weston McKennie did not have a great second half of last season on loan at Leeds United from Juventus. The Yorkshire side was relegated and it now appears that the American is not wanted back in Turin.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Juventus, "told Weston McKennie that he's NOT part of the plans. McKennie will not work together with the first team and won't travel for the USA pre-season tour."
The midfielder has reportedly turned down a move to Galatasaray recently. It is admirable that he is probably holding out for a move to a team in one of Europe's top five leagues. The player has also been linked with Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund but we will have to wait and see what the future holds for him.
