Today's USMNT news includes Malik Tillman being linked with PSV Eindhoven, Yunus Musah and Haji Wright both have new clubs and Matt Turner could be on his way to Nottingham Forest.
USMNT news: Malik Tillman to PSV Eindhoven
PSV Eindhoven won the Johan Cruyff Shield last night, with Ricardo Pepi coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 victory over Feyenoord. Pepi could soon have a USMNT teammate joining him in the Netherlands.
Kerry Hau has reported that "Bayern Munich's USMNT international Malik Tillman has decided to join PSV Eindhoven! Both clubs are close to reach an agreement on a loan with an option or obligation to buy for the 21-year-old midfielder."
Tillman had a very successful spell at Rangers last season and he has also been linked with Wolfsburg and Sheffield United. However, a move to PSV could be the best step for the 21-year-old's development.
USMNT news: Yunus Musah and Haji Wright have new clubs
Yunus Musah has now joined AC Milan, where he will be reunited with Christian Pulisic. The transfer saga seemed to go on forever but the player has now finally got his move from Valencia.
A statement on Milan's official website said that "Musah will wear the number 80." This is the shirt that Ronaldinho wore at the club, so the Italians obviously have high hopes for Musah.
Also, Haji Wright has completed his move to Coventry City from Antalyaspor. Speaking of his move to ccfc.co.uk, Wright said "I was immediately excited by the project and the investment being made at the club and the team and all round really excited to be part of it."
Coventry lost in the playoff final to Luton Town last season but will now be looking to go one better with Wright on their roster.
USMNT news: Matt Turner to Nottingham Forest
Matt Turner could be on his way to Nottingham Forest, where you would think he would be leaving for first-team soccer. However, playing regularly may not be guaranteed in Steve Cooper's lineup.
According to Fabrizio Romano, "Nottingham Forest want to close Matt Turner deal as soon as possible, talks advancing with Arsenal as revealed earlier. Dean Henderson remains an option for Forest in the final weeks of the window — not now."
If Forest signs Henderson as well, then it will be likely that Turner will be used as the backup goalkeeper. So Turner might as well stay at Arsenal and wait for a move to a club where he will get game time.
