According to the Huading Awards Group’s regulations, Wang Haige's position as chairman of the executive committee has a term of three years and is eligible for re-election. Wang Haige took office as chairman in September 2017 and was re-elected in September 2020. Wang Haige is an outstanding representative of China's film industry and an important figure in the international film community. His film activities have been widely praised domestically and abroad. He has been rated as one of the "100 outstanding contributors to Chinese cinema in 100 years" by the New Era International Film Festival's "Golden Yanghua" Award. He has also been awarded dozens of important awards by relevant international organizations, such as "World Outstanding Chinese," "International Elite Leader," "World Peace Culture Ambassador," "Sino-US Cultural Exchange Messenger," and "Outstanding Achievement Award."
