Bel'Veth's release date was of immediate concern when she was first announced. Players have been scrambling to play the newest champion and use her amazing kit. And on Monday, Riot Games released gameplay footage showing how powerful she can be.
Based on leaked information and gameplay footage, Bel'Veth looks like she's going to be a powerful jungler. The champion has a passive that consumes Voice Essence dropped from killed champions, jungle minions, and super minions. She collects these to form a passive stack she can activate, which gives her lifesteal against jungle minions and sends a void swarm against towers.
Just an ability to push lanes and put pressure on towers as a jungler is pretty impressive. Add in a few skill-base movement abilities and a "true-form" ultimate, and Bel'Veth looks to fit in quite well.
League of Legends Bel'Veth Release Date
Bel'Veth is set to release on June 9 at 4 p.m. ET. The date makes sense for it's after the MSI tournament, making sure this new champion doesn't shake up the professional scene.
While a champion always looks powerful during the preview, it will take a while to figure out its power level. Once real gameplay hits the live server, then we can make a decision on where she fits in the current meta.
