Players can participate in the the Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event to earn free rewards and witness the reveal of Modern Warfare 3 until the event ends in just a few days.
The Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event gives fans the opportunity to spawn into a limited-time playlist and help Shadow Company take on Konni forces. After securing chemical weapons through a series of missions, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer will play, giving the world the first look at Sledgehammer Games' new title.
So, how long will fans have to play the Shadow Siege Event before it ends?
When Does Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event End?
The Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event ends on Monday, Aug. 21 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Those who missed out on participating in the event at launch will have the next four days to play the Shadow Siege Event and earn the following rewards:
- Battle Token Tier Skip
- Konni Group Emblem
- Crimson Sound Calling Card
- Serpent Slayer Vehicle Skin
- Gas Canister Charm
- M13C Assault Rifle
How to Complete Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event
To complete the Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event, head to the Shadow Siege playlist with three of your friends. You can play on fill, but the event will be much easier with some help you can count on.
The first task of the Shadow Siege Event is to Capture Missile Launchers. Their locations will be highlighted on the map, so split up and capture all eight before you must Invade the Hidden Bunker. As soon as you drop down, a flurry of AI will be ready to take out your team. Eliminate and evade the AI to find the gas canisters nearby.
The most tedious part of the event comes when you and your squad must Exfil 45 Gas Canisters. You will only be able to hold one at a time, and there will be a time limit, so work fast. Once you complete the exfil, hop on one of the choppers ready to take you out of the chaotic warzone.
If you are successful, the Modern Warfare 3 trailer will then play, giving you the first look at the next Call of Duty title coming on Nov. 10.
