The Call of Duty League 2023 season is well underway, and Stage 3 is set to kick off on Feb. 17.
Major 1 crowned the New York Subliners as champions, and Atlanta FaZe came out on top of Major 2. The rest of the CDL teams hope to bounce back from their performances and leave Major 3 with a championship. Before they can return to LAN, they must battle it out in five online qualifier matches.
Here's a breakdown of the upcoming CDL major.
Call of Duty League Major 3 Date Revealed
Major 3 will begin on Thursday, March 9 and continue until Grand Finals on Sunday, March 12. Like previous Major formats, the daily schedule will feature a mixture of matches from both the Winners and the Elimination Brackets.
Only four teams will survive until March 12. The bracket for the event will be released closer to the start date, once all online qualifiers have been completed.
Call of Duty League Major 3 Qualifiers Start Date
Qualifiers will kick off on Friday, Feb. 17, with LA Thieves taking on Vegas Legion. Coming off a second-place finish at Major 2, LA Thieves are looking like one of the favorites heading into Stage 3.
The online qualifiers will occur on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for three weeks to determine the seeding for Major 3. The matches were randomly chosen at the beginning of the season to ensure that all CDL teams play each other twice.
The top eight teams after three weeks of matches will begin the LAN tournament in the Winners Bracket, while the four worst teams will start in the Elimination Bracket.
Call of Duty League Major 3 Host
OpTic Texas will be hosting Major 3. The event will take place at Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, TX. Tickets are already sold out for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
OpTic Texas are looking to repeat their hometown win from the 2022 Vanguard season. This time though, they will have to do it without Seth "Scump" Abner.
