He once hosted Snoop Dogg, one of the most recognized rappers in the world. Dogg and Rogan obviously share a passion for music, and a 17-year-old Biggie's captivating rhythm attracted the adoration of both at the time.

‘Imagine someone being that good at 17 years old’

In the 2021 episode, Joe Rogan and Snoop Dogg talked about UFC and expressed their admiration for MMA. They also discussed how talented Biggie was at just 17 years old.

“Here it is, this is my favorite… He’s in front of a grocery store folks. The rhythm, there’s just… Can you imagine being out there, seeing a 17 year old kid rapping like, you’re like, oh it’s over, it’s over… Imagine someone being that good at 17 years old,” Rogan said.

While seeing the video, Dogg fought with Rogan about how the podcaster had given fans access to some extremely unique stuff. Rogan maintained that the film was freely accessible to the public and could be found on YouTube.

However, Young Jamie's admission that the video had just 4,000 views proved that Dogg was correct. Thanks to the time they spent together, Dogg has a wealth of knowledge about Biggie and Tupac; he has also shared his thoughts on how Biggie felt after Tupac was slain.

‘This is not a man that’s happy or glamorized’

Snoop Dogg discussed Biggie's reaction to the death of his close friend and business partner Tupac. Tupac Shakur, a well-known American rapper, died tragically in a gunfire. Dogg admitted that he could tell how hurt Biggie was from the look in his eyes.

“He looked me in my eyes and he say something to that—he’s sad that Tupac Shakur is dead, but I can look in his eyes and I could see that he hurt. This is not a man that’s happy or glamorized. This is a man whose friend that’s dead, they had a misunderstanding and he could never get no justice for his emotions, but he’s showing me his emotions,” Dogg said.

The famed rivalry between the west coast and east coast rappers included Tupac and his entourage. Tupac was a major inspiration for future rappers, among many other things. The torch that he left behind has since been carried by Snoop Dogg and Biggie. Snoop Dogg continued to grow as a star after Biggie's demise.
