Where is Kylie now? Dr Lee and Dr Arisa Ortiz team up to treat 'Dr Pimple Popper' patient with 'constant dripping' bump

UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: It's about that time of the week again when we're treated to an hour in the life of 'Dr Pimple Popper'. Dr Sandra Lee will examine a patient with a port-wine stain birthmark and a pimple that is "constantly dripping" on the seventh episode of this season of the TLC show.

Dr Lee saw a patient called Eddie in Season 8 who had a similar skin issue to her current patient in Season 9. Eddie traveled to San Diego following his initial operation with Dr Lee to see Dr Arisa Ortiz. She kept using lasers to cure his birthmark. Eddie's nasal scar healed well two months after his fourth treatment, and the dark red was no longer visible. So it was a no-brainer for Dr Ortiz to return this season when Dr Lee is confronted with yet another identical case.

Who is Kylie on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

Kylie, Dr Lee's patient, told the TLC camera that her birthmark is known as a port-wine stain. Unfortunately, it had also developed a bulge that protrudes nearly like a nasty pimple. She has no idea what is causing the lump.

Although the patient has a birthmark on her face, she claims it isn't an issue because she has had it from birth and has never wanted it removed. It's what it's accompanied by that's the issue. However, three years ago, the patient's birthmark began to form a lump that liked to "burst and bleed," causing her a lot of discomfort. Kylie says that her bump bleeds almost every day for 15-30 minutes. She compares it to a "constant dripping faucet."

What happened to Kylie on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

Dr Lee's clinic has a visitor this time, as she has brought in a friend and dermatologist, Dr Ortiz, who is an "excellent laser surgeon." Dr Ortiz, according to Dr Lee, has more expertise treating birthmarks than "anyone she knows," which is why she's invited her along to assist. "There are a hundred different lasers on the market," the doctor continues, "and I like to use the phrase, it’s not about the paint, it’s about the painter. Even though someone has the same laser, they’re not necessarily using it in the same way," she added.

It's not her first appearance on the TLC show. She was introduced to fans last summer. Kylie wasn't expecting to see a second doctor at Dr Lee's office, so she was nervous. Dr Lee explains that port-wine stain is a vascular condition that is inherited. It is the abnormality of the blood vessels that causes them to be deformed in an unusual location. When you see them, they appear more superficial. The problem is that as you get older, they tend to expand and become more pronounced. This might be a precursor to additional bumps.

Tune into TLC every Wednesday, at 9 pm ET to catch new episodes of 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9.
