However, the majority of people are unaware that he was already married at the beginning of his profession.
Depp was married to Lori Anne Allison (aka Lori Depp) before Heard and decades before any of the other women came into his life. Since the commotion and legal disputes with Heard began, Ryder and Paradis have defended Depp. It turns out that Lori has joined his other exes in his defense, despite the fact that they are no longer close, according to The Things.

Who is Lori Depp?
When Depp was barely 20 years old and Lori was 25 years old, they got married in South Florida on December 20, 1983. Lori was the sister of the bassist in a band that Depp played in. The young couple struggled to make ends meet. While Lori worked as a makeup artist, her husband did odd things like telemarketing for a pen manufacturer, per Metro.

Growing up, Lori enjoyed painting her dolls, and David Bowie was one of her creative heroes. Now, Lori has been a makeup artist for many years and has worked with celebrities including Josh Groban, Bonnie Raitt, and Cloris Leachman. She has lived a relatively tranquil life aside from that.
She introduced her own brand of lip glosses in 2015 under the name 'Serendeppity,' which includes glosses with names based on her idols and most-loved movie characters. Lori got Depp his first Hollywood audition

Soon after, Lori introduced her then-husband Depp to Nicolas Cage via her connections.
Cage was able to secure Depp an audition for 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' after the two became friends. Depp admitted at the time: "I got the job. I was stupefied. They paid me all that money for a week. It was luck, an accident. I did it purely to pay the rent. I was literally filling out job applications at the same time, any kind of job. Cage said, 'You should try being an actor. Maybe you are one and don’t know it.' I began acting, and I thought, well, this is an interesting road; maybe I should keep traveling on it."
Sadly, while both of their careers were booming, their marriage was not, and after only a few years of marriage, Depp and Lori filed for divorce in 1985, citing irreconcilable differences. She still goes by the name Lori Depp, so the split is believed to have been at least in part amicable.

At the start of the 76th Cannes Film Festival in France, Depp was given a thunderous standing ovation as he walked the red carpet. As he waved to the cheering crowd from a balcony within the Grand Theatre Lumiere, Depp reportedly choked back tears, per the outlet.
