Finding love for Charity wasn't fruitful in Zach Shallcross's season of 'The Bachelor' as she was eliminated after her hometown date. However, during her hometown date with Shallcross, viewers of the show got to meet Charity's parents, David Lawson and Vickie Lawson. Charity's parents, Vickie and David, currently reside in Columbus, Georgia. According to David's Facebook page, he graduated from Troy University and originally hails from Montgomery, Alabama. Even though David presently works at Aflac, an insurance company, he has previously served in the military. Many details about Charity's mother,r Vickie's education, and work history aren't available. However, one of Vickie's previous posts suggests that she works as a dentist.

Charity said, "This could be something serious and something for real," adding, "To have you and Mom be, like, my role models... you guys have been my hope of what I envision and what I want." Meanwhile, Charity's mother helped her realize she wanted to tell Shallcross she was falling in love with him.
