BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: A songwriter for Katy Perry has been reported missing from Beverly Hills, California as her friends seek help from the public in locating her following her disappearance of nearly two months.

Talking to ABC7, Camela Leierth-Segura's friends said that her car, a 2010 silver Ford Fusion was last spotted on June 30 and added that her 19-year-old pet cat Morris has also vanished.

Who is Camela Leierth-Segura?

Camela Leierth-Segura is a model-turned-musician from Sweden. She is best known for her work with Katy Perry as she co-wrote the 2013 hit song 'Walking on Air.'

The singer-songwriter's last date of contact was on June 29 in Beverly Hills, as per the missing person's page on the California Department of Justice website.

Leierth Segura's worried sister and friends alerted about her disappearance

Leierth-Segura's sister who lives in Sweden reached out to her friends in the US, said one of the missing woman's friends, Liz Montgomery.

According to ABC7, Montgomery then filed a missing person's report. She also posted about Leierth-Segura's missing on social media on August 9 seeking help in the search.

"We are desperately seeking information on the whereabouts of our dear friend, and sister, Camela Leierth, who may also be using the name Camela Leierth Segura," read Montgomery's post on Facebook.

"We are extremely worried about her safety, and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her. If you have any information, even the smallest detail can help, please reach out immediately," she continued.

Leierth-Segura was evicted from her home

Talking to ABC7, Leierth-Segura's landlord claimed that the missing woman was evicted before she was reported missing.

Her friends stated that she had financial troubles and struggled to pay her rent. Neighbors noticed a "for rent" sign outside her rented house and also saw lifeless plants at her place.

Montgomery's social media post and missing person's report described Leierth-Segura as a white female with blue eyes and blonde hair who weighs about 125 pounds and stands at 5 feet 10 inches.

"[Camela] means the world to us and time is of the essence," Montgomery wrote in her social media post adding that "her family in Sweden is pleading for your assistance."

"I'd like to think that nothing bad happened, but do I think something bad happened? Yeah," said Leierth-Segura's friend Cecilia Foss.
